DADA!: The meeting point of contradictions is an exploration of order unraveling into chaos, where meaning becomes unstable and open to interpretation. The exhibition questions systems of logic, authorship, and value through disruption and contradiction. It invites viewers to unlearn, observe differently, and find their own meaning within the absurd.
Concept
We chose Dadaism for its rejection of logic and traditional art, making it a strong framework to question meaning and systems. Its emphasis on absurdity and experimentation allowed us to explore interactive and unconventional ways of experiencing art.
WHY DADA?
Beginning with structured World War I propaganda, the exhibition gradually fractures into disrupted typography and Dada visuals inspired by Tristan Tzara. A mannequin of fragmented language marks the shift to absurdity. The space then challenges art itself through films and Fountain by Marcel Duchamp. Finally, visitors create their own Dada posters, transforming from viewers into participants.

The exhibition concluded with an interactive collage wall where visitors used stickers, glue, and fragments to break apart and rebuild the visual language encountered throughout the space. In this final act, observation shifted into participation. The audience moved from viewers to makers, actively shaping and completing the work.
