The Canopy Reserve is a conceptual wildlife sanctuary branding project rooted in system thinking, where design is used to build empathy for wildlife and strengthen the relationship between people, nature, and conservation. The identity reflects the interconnected systems that support a sanctuary, translating care, balance, and coexistence into a gentle yet purposeful visual language.

Concept

Logo ideations included exploring organic canopy forms, feline inspired silhouettes, and symbols that reflected interconnected ecosystems. Through multiple sketch iterations and refinements, the final mark evolved into a balanced identity that represents both wildlife presence and environmental harmony.

IDEATIONS

The logo features a playful tiger that arches protectively over the sanctuary name, symbolizing guardianship and strength, while the central leaf represents ecological balance and the interconnected canopy ecosystem.

TYPOGRAPHY

The typography reflects the sanctuary’s balance between strength and sensitivity, combining characterful expression with clear readability to mirror the harmony between wildlife and environment.

The color palette draws from the sanctuary’s natural ecosystem. Orange reflects wildlife energy, brown adds strength and grounding, and green represents the forest canopy. Soft off-white brings warmth, while muted yellow and blue introduce subtle highlights inspired by sunlight and sky.

Brand applications demonstrate how the sanctuary’s identity translates into real-world contexts, including signage, wristbands, and merchandise, helping visualize how the brand feels, functions, and connects with visitors across different touchpoints.
